The Winery
Château Cissac is a cru bourgeois owned by the Vialard family, yet this historic Haut-Médoc wine property dates back to 1769. Louis Vialard acquired the vineyard in 1940; his daughter Danielle has since taken over the winemaking and has also been joined by her daughter, Marie. The vines are planted on a bed of gravel over a limestone base and have an average age of 30 years.
