The Winery
When Warren Bogle and his son Chris first decided to bottle the family’s wine, they wanted a label that artistically depicted the unique river region where the vines were planted. Living on Bogle’s River Ranch was a multi-talented artist named Paul Lorenzi. Paul was asked to create a sketch of the vines. One evening, glass of wine in hand, Paul began his sketch when a gorgeous male ring-necked pheasant came into view and settled among the vines. Paul illustrated the bird as it gracefully flew over the vines, and thus the label was created. Bogle is located on Merritt Island, which has always been a haven for fantastic wildlife, including the ring-necked pheasant. Over the years, the solitary bird from the original label became a pair of birds, the colourful male and the more subtle female. The logo has evolved from colourful artistic renditions to emblematic outlines to noble and gold-foiled.
