Drew's Tasting Note

Very expressive, effervescent and inviting. Zesty citrus and ripe orchard fruits, toasted almonds with a touch of salinity. A lovely fine mousse and a lingering finish. ‘Corallian’ is named after the coral-rich limestone of the chalky soils where the Chardonnay vines grow in Dorset.

Producer: Langham Wine Estate | Vintage: Non-vintage | From: Dorset, England | Alcohol: 12.0 | Style: white, sparkling | Grape: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier

The Winery

In 2009, Justin Langham began expanding his father’s small vineyard at their Dorset family home, planting the first blocks of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, which is now a 34-hectare vineyard on Crawthorne Farm. Langham Wine Estate remains independent and family-run, with a small yet passionate team led by winemaker Tommy Grimshaw. They are inspired by the Grower Champagne movement, taking a low-intervention and oxidative approach to crafting traditional method sparkling wines.
