Black fruits and sour cherries on the nose. A succulent blend of berries, spices and dried fruits on the palate. Creamy, soft, well-integrated tannins. Delicious, rich and full with great length.

The Winery

In Burgundy in 1850, a young Gaetano Bertani began studying under renowned winemaker Jules Guyot, learning modern viticultural techniques. Gaetano and his brother established their own winery in Valpantena in 1857. A century later, in 1858, the Bertani winery contributed to creating the Amarone della Valpolicella style of wine for which the region is famous. Now with over two hundred hectares of vineyards in Verona, the Bertany Winery produces an extensive range of red and white wines.
