Remarkably rich aromas of ripe black cherries, cassis and vanilla, with hints of wild herbs and cedar. These scents also serve the palate with concentrated, juicy fruits and smooth tannins. Well-balanced. This wine is easily enjoyable now, or even more so over the next few years.

The Winery

Bogle’s Juggernaut wines are made from special vineyards in California and beyond. Because of the altitude and angle of the Californian hillside vineyards, the grapes benefit from natural concentration and enhanced ripening. French oak barrels are used for ageing, producing a wine with extraordinary texture and richness. The Hillside Cabernet shows a distinct increase in flavour concentration while maintaining Bogle’s signature easy-drinking style.

Warren Vernon Bogle, fourth generation, planted the first wine grapes in 1968 at the Bogle family’s Home Ranch in Clarksburg, California. Ten years later, they began releasing wine bearing the family name, and the original winery, constructed in 1979, still stands.
