Drew's Tasting Note

Ripe, fresh cherries, hedgerow blackberries and blackberry leaf, cassis and quince, with hints of hazelnut, leather, and cracked black pepper. Silky smooth tannins and a tenacious finish. Delicious and elegant. Unapologetically epic. Limited edition.

The Winery

Mauricio Lorca once had his sights set on a career in medicine, but an introduction to oenology changed everything. What followed was a winemaking career that took him through some of Argentina's most respected cellars, and today he is regarded as one of the country's leading wine consultants. In 2002, Mauricio established his own winery in Luján de Cuyo, just outside Mendoza, and a 96-point score from critic Robert Parker has since brought his wines to the attention of wine lovers worldwide. Drew has known Mauricio Lorca for more than 20 years and has always admired his winemaking.
