The Winery

The Vigouroux family have resided in Cahors in France since 1887. Previously derelict since being infected by phylloxera, the Château de Haute-Serre vineyard was replanted in 1971 by Georges Vigouroux; in the years since, traditional methods have been combined with modern winemaking techniques to optimise the potential of the Malbec grape in its original terroir. Today, Bertrand-Gabriel Vigouroux follows his father’s passion and care, and where the yield per stock is reduced, the quality and delicacy of their wines increase.
