Drew's Tasting Note

Fresh green apple, peach, pineapple, and mango aromas follow through on the palate and blend with honeyed almonds and a crisp mineral finish that lasts long in the mouth. There is also a light buttery flavour underpinning everything. A nice balance with a good, enjoyable length.

The Winery

Jean-Marc Brocard founded his domaine in 1973 and has since become one of Chablis' most respected producers, practising minimal intervention in both the vineyard and the winery. No pesticides or synthetic fertilisers are used; the estate relies on predators and manure to maintain the land's natural balance, producing wines that genuinely reflect Chablis' distinctive soils. For the past 15 years, the estate has been led by Jean-Marc's son, Julien, a pioneer of biodynamics in Chablis, who has deepened this commitment to the land while upholding his father's philosophy.
