The Winery

The Adriano family's connection to the vines of San Rocco Seno d'Elvio, in the heart of the Langhe, dates back to the early 1900s, when Giuseppe Adriano first cultivated the land as a sharecropper. His son Aldo bought the farmhouse in 1968, and in the 1990s, brothers Marco and Vittorio expanded the property and began bottling their own wines, with the first estate-bottled vintage released in 1994. The 50-hectare property includes 30 hectares of vines, hazelnut groves and surrounding woodland, all farmed without herbicides. The key vineyard is Basarin in Neive, with steep, south-east-facing slopes of grey tufa marl. The Nebbiolo-based wines are aged in traditional Slavonian oak.
