The Winery

The Bogle family have been farming in California's Sacramento Delta for six generations, though it was Warren Vernon Bogle who planted the area's first wine grapes in Clarksburg in 1968, laying the ground for what is now a third-generation winery. The family vinify every block of fruit separately to preserve the character of each vineyard, and age their red wines in a barrel room holding over 95,000 small oak barrels. They are a Certified California Sustainable Winery that employs eco-friendly practices and supports local communities through their Bogle Gives Back initiative.

Bogle's winemakers use carefully selected grapes from across California to create their Phantom wines. Aged longer in oak and with greater attention at every stage, these wines are noticeably richer and more complex. Bogle's signature easy-drinking style, but with greater depth.
