The Winery

Cariñena is a village in Aragon with a winemaking history that goes back to Roman times. The Romans knew it as “Care”, from which Bodegas Care takes its name. Founded in 2000 by two Aragonese families, Díaz and Lázaro, the winery is built around the region’s native varieties, Garnacha and Cariñena, while embracing the best of modern winemaking techniques. Each label features a face from the original works of artist Enrique Torrijos, giving the range a visual identity as distinctive as its wines. 10% of the proceeds from Care's Solidarity Rosé are donated to AMAC-GEMA, a local association supporting women with breast cancer.
