The Winery

Found in the north of the Médoc, Château La Tour de By dates back to 1876. It was previously known as La Roque de By. However, vines have been cultivated there for a few hundred years. In 1965, the winery was expanded, and new cellars were installed at Château La Tour de By when Messieurs Pages, Cailloux and Lapalu purchased the 73 hectares of vineyards that make up the large Cru Bourgeois estate. As of 2019, the Château is a part of Médoc Regional Natural Park, helping preserve a high level of biodiversity.
