Aromas of dried fruit, honey and warm spice. The Bordeaux cask finish lends flavours of rich dark chocolate and ripe orchard fruits, all wrapped around a smooth, triple-distilled malt. Wonderfully warming, with a long and graceful finish.

The Distillery

Ellis & Angel is a limited edition Irish single malt, made in Drogheda, Co. Louth. It takes its name from two of the great gateways through which generations of migrants once passed, Ellis Island in New York Harbour and Angel Island in San Francisco Bay, a nod to the courage of those who set out across the ocean to begin again. This Maiden Voyage Release comes from a single cask, triple-distilled and aged for 10 years in American oak, then finished in French oak Bordeaux wine casks that add an extra layer of dried fruit and a touch of spice. It is non-chill filtered, bottled at 46% ABV with nothing added to adjust the colour, and limited to 360 individually numbered bottles.
