The Winery

Henri Felettig inherited two hectares of vines in Chambolle-Musigny in 1965 and made his first vintage there in 1969. Over the next two decades, he and his wife, Reine, steadily acquired every plot they could, reaching nine hectares by 1992. The following year, their children, Christine and Gilbert, joined the family business, and the domaine has continued to grow, now spanning 13 hectares and 100 individual plots from Gevrey-Chambertin to Beaune, all farmed sustainably. The philosophy is resolutely non-interventionist: cold pre-fermentation maceration, gentle extraction, and 14 to 18 months in carefully selected barrels. Chambolle-Musigny remains the soul of the domaine, and the wines reflect that entirely.
