The Winery

Franz Haas was founded in 1880 in Montagna, South Tyrol. For eight generations, the firstborn son of the family has inherited both the winery and its name, a tradition that speaks to the deep continuity at the heart of the estate. The current Franz Haas, the seventh to run the winery, brings the same exacting standards to every wine he makes, drawing on high-altitude vineyards across South Tyrol to produce wines of real precision and character.
