The Winery

Marchesi di Frescobaldi is among the oldest and most renowned Italian wine dynasties. The Frescobaldi family has produced wine in Tuscany for over 700 years and has always been at the forefront of modernising the Italian wine industry. In 1855, Frescobaldi introduced then-unknown grape varieties to Tuscany, such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Merlot. The family’s vineyard land in Tuscany covers nearly 1000 hectares across nine estates.
