The Winery

John Duval Wines was founded in 2003 and is now one of Barossa’s most renowned producers. Following five generations of growing grapes in South Australia, John is the first winemaker of the Duval family, and was mentored by winemakers Max Schubert and Don Ditter of Penfolds. His own style honours his family history, championing old Barossan vines, and crafting a collection of exceptional and elegant wines. John’s eldest son, Tim, joined the family wine business in 2016.
