Drew's Tasting Note

A blend of four Chenin Blanc vintages creates a striking aroma of peach and honey. The palate has a mineral core with ripe stone fruit, baked apple and a hint of orange zest and citrus. Delightfully refreshing.

Producer: Ken Forrester Wines | Vintage: Non-vintage | From: Western Cape, South Africa | Alcohol: 13.0 | Style: rich white, still, vegetarian | Grape: Chenin Blanc

The Winery

In 1993, at the foot of the Helderberg Mountain in South Africa, in the heart of the country’s most famous wine region, Stellenbosch, Ken Forrester and his family renovated Scholtzenhof, one of the oldest farmhouses and vineyards in the Cape. Forrester’s focus is on sustainability. The winery and business have grown much over the past two decades, where the grapes are harvested, and the vineyards are tilled by hand.
