The Winery

In 1999, Mandrarossa was established following more than two decades of soil mapping and research across the sun-drenched coastal plains of Menfi, in south-west Sicily, the result of finding the ideal habitats for each grape variety to fully express its potential. Part of the Cantine Settesoli cooperative, Mandrarossa is led by oenologist Mimmo De Gregorio alongside wine-making expert Filippo Buttafuoco, with a philosophy rooted in scientific rigour and a restless curiosity about what Sicily's terroirs can achieve.
