Drew's Tasting Note

Intense aromas of ripe pear and peach with a hint of cream on the nose. Rich citrus and stone fruit flavours on the palate, with a layer of warm brioche and vanilla because of the ageing on the lees. Honeysuckle blossom on the finish.

The Winery

Bodegas Martín Códax was founded in 1985, named after the well-known Galician troubadour whose medieval poems sang of love, the sea and the coast. Since its founding, Bodegas Martín Códax has grown and developed, always supporting its people, land and culture. A project that started with the dream and efforts of a group of winegrowers has become a reality; Bodegas Martín Códax is now a global symbol for fine Galician wines.
