Drew's Tasting Note

A fresh and inviting nose of juniper, citrus zest and bay leaf, with a distinctive green, mineral freshness from locally foraged Alexanders. Dry and crisp on the palate, with a lick of lemon peel and a gentle peppery warmth. A long, well-rounded finish with a subtle coastal character.

Producer: Padstow Distilling | From: Cornwall, England | Alcohol: 42.0 | Bottle: 70cl

The Distillery

Padstow Distilling was founded by David McWilliam in 2019, with the Camel Estuary and the Cornish coastline at the heart of everything he makes. The gin is made from barley grown in the fields above the estuary and infused with wild coastal alexanders (a herb foraged from the clifftops around Padstow), and the flagship expression, 'St George's Well', is named after a local well. The range has since expanded to include vodka and rum, and the distillery has a bar at 17 Duke Street in the heart of Padstow.
