The Winery

The family winery was founded in 1901 when Leonildo Pieropan bought land that is today part of the Calvarino vineyard. Leonildo’s grandson, also Leonildo, had studied oenology and viticulture, and revolutionised the winery by introducing new methods and focusing on making single-vineyard wines. A champion of organic viticulture and co-founder of FIVI (Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers), Leonildo balanced innovation with deep respect for tradition, leaving a lasting impression on Italian wine. Today, his sons Andrea and Dario honour the family’s legacy with the same passion.
