The Winery

The Douro Valley became the world's first demarcated wine region in 1756, but references to Quinta do Crasto predate that landmark by more than a century, with records of the estate dating back to 1615. One of the Douro's great family estates, Quinta do Crasto has evolved considerably over the centuries, with significant investment in both vineyards and winery facilities in recent years, helping to build its reputation as one of the region's most respected producers of Port, table wines and olive oil.
