The Winery

When Agustín Huneeus founded Veramonte in the Casablanca Valley in the late 1990s, the region was virtually uncharted territory for viticulture. The Ritual estate sits at the valley's easternmost edge, its vineyards encircled by thousands of acres of native forest, a setting that shapes the wines as much as the climate. That climate, cooled by the Pacific Ocean and the Humboldt Current, is ideally suited to wines of freshness and precision, while the surrounding woodland and wildlife support rich biodiversity that underpins Ritual's organic farming approach.
