Drew's Tasting Note

Ripe raspberries and redcurrants with herbaceous notes on the nose. The palate brings a light sprinkling of spice over these red fruits, and a long finish follows that initial crunchy freshness.

The Winery

The Talley family have been farming in the Arroyo Grande Valley of California’s San Luis Obispo Coast since 1948, when Oliver Talley first began cultivating the land. Vineyards followed in 1982, and the first wines were released four years later. Today, Talley Vineyards is a four-generation family operation. The cool climate of the Arroyo Grande and Edna Valleys, moderated by the influence of the Pacific Ocean, suits Chardonnay and Pinot Noir particularly well, and all wines are grown entirely on the estate.
