A truly delicious wine from the first sip. Masses of ripe red fruit with floral and spice notes. It is very satisfying on the palate and has good weight with soft integrated tobacco leaf tannins. A lovely long finish. Pour me another glass!

The Winery

Napa Valley, 1993, Larry Turley established Turley Wine Cellars. Larry was an emergency room physician for twenty-five years before starting Frog’s Leap Winery in 1981 with his then-business partner, John Williams. Turley Wine Cellars now make 47 different wines from over 50 different vineyards across California because Larry keeps finding old-vine vineyards to restore, with many of these vines dating back to the late 1800s. Tegan Passalacqua is the director of winemaking at Turley and keeps the team focused on creating and preserving California’s winemaking culture with organic farming in these old-vine vineyards.
