The Winery

Established in 1967 by regional pioneer Dr Tom Cullity, Vasse Felix is Margaret River's founding wine estate. Margaret River's unique environment and climate make it a paradise for winemakers and wine lovers. Vasse Felix wines focus on Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, as well as Shiraz (Syrah) and Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc blends. The four vineyards are matched to the best possible varieties and clones. They farmed sustainably using traditional and organic practices before vinification and bottling at their modern winery overlooking the Wilyabrup Brook. This builds upon the Estate’s reputation for minimal intervention and ‘small batch’ winemaking as an intuitive progression to achieve Dr Tom Cullity’s original aim for Vasse Felix: “to make the best possible wine”.
