The Winery

Vasse Felix is Margaret River's founding wine estate, established in 1967 by regional pioneer Dr Tom Cullity. Since 1987, the estate has been guided by the Holmes à Court family, who have built on Cullity's original vision with the same dedication to place and quality. The region's climate, moderated by the Indian Ocean, is ideally suited to Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, which sit at the heart of the Vasse Felix range alongside Shiraz (Syrah) and a Sémillon/Sauvignon Blanc blend. Across several vineyards, each carefully matched to the most suitable varietals and clones, the estate farms sustainably, guided by a philosophy of minimal intervention and small-batch winemaking, a direct continuation of Dr Cullity's original aim: “to make the best possible wine.”
