The Winery

Wayfarer Vineyard was established in 2002 on the remote Sonoma Coast, after Napa Valley vintner Jayson Pahlmeyer spent years looking for the right site to grow Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The vineyard caught the attention of neighbouring winemaker Helen Turley of the celebrated Marcassin estate, who declared it would one day be the La Tâche of California. In 2012, Jayson's daughter Cleo took over, launching Wayfarer as a label in its own right and producing single-vineyard Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that are a pure reflection of one of California's most remote and distinctive sites.
