Tropical fruits on the nose: apricot, mango and pineapple, with notes of black pepper. An initial citrus, almond and black pepper mix is on the palate, closely followed by ginger, apricot and lime. Intense and complex, with a memorable finish. Rich salmon, tuna and spicy dishes would be a perfect accompaniment.

The Winery

Yalumba is Australia's oldest family-owned winery, founded by Samuel Smith in 1849 in the Barossa Valley. Now in the hands of fifth-generation descendants Robert and Sam Hill-Smith, the winery has remained true to its roots while evolving into a globally respected and forward-thinking producer.
